Dog Grooming Terms & Conditions

I hereby acknowledge and agree that all the information provided in this Grooming & Consent Form is complete and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I confirm that my dog is fit and healthy and that the groomer is not responsible for irritation, abrasion, patchiness or hair-loss due to pre-existing conditions. We will endeavour to groom your dog to the highest standard but in interest of your pet’s safety and wellbeing, we may clip areas of the coat. Following the clip we will not be held responsible for skin blemishes/bleeding/cuts/nicks or other problems caused by a badly matted coat. We will take the utmost care when performing this service with minimum discomfort or stress to your dog. Owner accepts full liability for any loss or damage caused by their dog whilst being in the care of The Dog House, Looe. Owner is financially responsible for any loss or damage to property whilst your dog is in the care of The Dog House, Looe. The Dog House, Looe is not held accountable for vet fees or third party claims whilst your dog is in our care.

Day-Care & Boarding Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions
Owner accepts full liability for any loss or damage caused by their dog whilst being in the care of The Dog House, Looe. Owner is financially responsible for any loss or damage to property whilst your dog is in the care of The Dog House, Looe. The Dog House, Looe is not held accountable for vet fees or third party claims whilst your dog is in our care.

Owner is to make full disclosure of any quality or characteristic problems which might make your dog not suitable for walking or home boarding; including behavioural or health problems, antisocial behaviour; including aggression, incontinence or lack of house training and excessive loud barking or whining. Failure on the part of the owner to disclose any matter which might render owner’s dog unsuitable for walking or home boarding will be deemed a material omission amounting to a fundamental breach of our agreement.

We make every effort to contact the owner in the event of an emergency. We recommend owners provide us with a contact number of a trusted third party should we be unable to make contact. However, we reserve the right to make decisions regarding your dog’s health provided it is at all times acting in the best interests of the dog and on the advice of a veterinary surgeon. Owner is responsible for payment of any veterinary fees incurred by The Dog House, Looe.

Deposit:

All bookings with The Dog House, Looe require a 50% non-refundable deposit upon booking. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit / debit card or cash. The deposit will be taken off your final balance upon completion of your dog (s) stay with The Dog House, Looe. If you decide to not fulfil your booking with The Dog House, Looe then the 50% non-refundable deposit will not be returned to you.

Late Fees:

We close our dog day-care and boarding establishment at 6pm weekdays and 5pm on weekends. If you are later than this, a charge of £5.00 per dog per hour applies until you collect your dog(s).

Damages:

All damages to our property or the property of others by your dog (s) whilst in our care will be the responsibility of the owner to pay. Whether this is a repair or replacement of the property, it remains the right of The Dog House, Looe to decide whether a replacement or repair is required and will do so in a fair way.

Dog Walking Terms & Conditions

Owner is responsible and will ensure that their dog is up-to-date with their vaccinations, flea and tick treatments and de-wormer treatments.
